A Seasonal Adventure Collective for Middle School Girls
Interest Pilot | Grades 6–8 | Puget Sound
Girls Hearts on Fire (GHOF) is exploring a new opportunity for middle school girls who are curious, courageous, and ready to grow beyond the classroom.
HOF Explores is a seasonal, adventure-based leadership experience designed to help girls build confidence, connection, and voice through shared experiences across Washington State—guided by trusted community mentors.
What Is HOF Explores?
HOF Explores will bring together 20 girls from across Puget Sound to participate in four seasonal adventures throughout the year. Each experience is designed to spark joy, encourage self-expression, and strengthen leadership skills through real-world exploration.
Girls won’t just participate—they’ll help shape the journey.
Participants will vote on their top four adventures from a curated list of cultural, outdoor, and enrichment experiences.
Possible Adventures Include:

Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad Tour

Whale Watching in Puget Sound

Theatre or Performing Arts Experience

Fall Festivities (pumpkin patch, cider making, corn maze)

Winter Experiences (ice skating, cocoa, tree lighting)

Twin Falls Hike & Picnic

Pacific Science Center Attractions

Seattle Storm Basketball Game

Queens Tea Party at The Olive Branch

Daytrek or Nature Exploration
(Final adventures will be selected based on youth voting.)

No prior leadership experience required—just willingness to show up as you are.
