Girls Hearts on Fire (GHOF) is a comprehensive youth development organization igniting confidence, leadership, and purpose in girls from 3rd through 12th grade. We equip girls with the social-emotional skills, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Research shows that access to support, mentorship, and leadership opportunities before age 14 significantly shifts a young person’s long-term economic and life outcomes. That’s why GHOF begins empowering girls as early as 5th grade and continues walking alongside them through middle school, high school, and beyond.

Our programs are designed to nurture identity, build resilience, strengthen mental wellness, and prepare girls for post-secondary success. Through hands-on learning, leadership development, real-world exposure, and community service, we help girls discover who they are — and who they are becoming.

GHOF serves girls in grades 3–12 through three phases of development:

• Sparks (Grades 3–5): Big feelings, brave choices, and the building blocks of self-confidence.

• Flames (Grades 6–8): Leadership, communication, healthy relationships, and self-expression.

• Blaze (Grades 9–12): Mentorship, post-secondary readiness, purpose work, and community impact.

We’re not just preparing girls for the future — we’re helping them create it.
